Reminder: Employee Assistance Program Services Available For All Employees

All staff members received information about the Agency’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) via e-mail on September 17.

Please remember that EAP services are available 24 hours a day at no cost to help staff members and their families. The program offers assistance with work/life concerns including the following: addiction, depression, stress, anxiety, marital/family issues, legal/financial issues, elder or childcare issues and life transitions.

The program is designed to be the first step you might take in seeking help and offers up to three in-person assessment and counseling sessions, after which you will be referred to your health insurance provider if additional help is needed. Remember, the program is strictly confidential. Heartland AEA is never informed about your participation in this program.

To schedule an appointment or get more information, contact Bensinger, DuPont & Associates at (866) 451-5465. If you have any questions about this employee benefit, contact Kathy Martin, Benefits Specialist, at kmartin@aea11.k12.ia.us or ext. 14385.
