Spend Your Medical Flex Spending Dollars by June 30
If you have a medical flex spending plan or an HRA, you may have just received a statement in the mail showing you have some money to spend before the end of the plan year (June 30) or you will lose it.
Although your HRA statement shows that you must also spend all of your HRA dollars, this is incorrect. If you are continuing employment with Heartland in a full time position for the 2015-16 plan year, up to $500 of your unused dollars in your medical flex spending will automatically roll over and up to $7000 of your unused HRA dollars will automatically roll over.
Below is a partial list of qualified expenses you can be reimbursed for under either the medical flex spending plan or the HRA.
Claims can be submitted through your Kabel account online.
Questions you may have about qualified expenses or for which dependents you may submit claims should be directed to Kabel Business Services at (515) 224-9400 or (800) 300-9691.
