The July 2016 issue of the School Leader Update from the Iowa Department of Education is now available. Inside, read Director Ryan Wise’s thoughts on this summer’s heavy schedule of professional learning going on around the state. And Attorney Nicole Proesch offers some important legal reminders.
The agenda for the July 12, 2016 Board of Directors meeting is now available. There will be no work session, and the meeting will be held via conference call and in person for those who wish to participate, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

If you haven't already done so, take a few minutes to update your iPad to the most recent version of its operating system—iOS 9.3.2. This update generally does not take too long, especially if you have updated in the past two months. It's always a good idea to plug in your iPad power during an update.
The Agency has moved to a new way of distributing apps and managing iPads, so if you are not at iOS 9.3.2, you will not be able to get any new agency apps on your iPad.
