Iowa Education Summit Information
To find out more information about the Summit, to be held July 25-26 and hosted by the Governor’s office and the Iowa Department of Education, including the schedule of sessions, visit http://iowaeducation.iowa.gov/education-summit/.
Watch Live Streaming
You can watch many of the sessions through live streaming. Go to http://aea111.eduvision.tv and click the Live Schedule tab for times. Pre-summit roundtable discussions have been recorded and are also available—choose Governors Summit from the All Channels pull-down menu. You are welcome to view the live sessions in the Agency’s library July 25 and 26 so you can share insights with your colleagues. If you have any questions, contact Susan Schrader at sschrader@aea11.k12.ia.us.
For Heartland Staff Attending in Person
Heartland staff members who are attending the Summit in person are asked by Dr. Vincent to gather in the registration area at Hy-Vee Hall at 8:00 a.m. on July 25 (one hour prior to the Summit’s opening remarks at 9:00 a.m.). This informal gathering time will used to discuss as a group expectations of the Summit. If you have any questions, contact Jenny Ugolini at jugolini@aea11.k12.ia.us.

IPTV to Air Several Education-Related Programs in Coming Weeks
