Webcasts Provide Information About Iowa’s Alternate Assessment

This series of short webcasts provides introductory information on Iowa’s AYP Alternate Assessment Policy, Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) Assessment System, Iowa Alternate Assessment Science (IAAS) System and processes for the 2014-15 school year. Additional information includes assessment training requirements, roles and responsibilities of district personnel including tech support and a comparison crosswalk document between IAAS and DLM ELA & Math assessment processes. Participants are encouraged to make comments and submit questions through the survey link identified for each webcast. A frequently asked questions document will be constructed from the surveys and posted on this Department of Education Iowa’s AYP Alternate Assessment for 2014-2015 webpage.
