Certified Staff PDPs Postponed For One Month; PL Technology Platform Training Coming Soon

During regional meetings, you learned more about our internal Professional Learning System, including a preview of the technology platform we will use to support our growth and evaluation processes. 

As we all learn and become familiar with the platform this year, Professional Development Plans (PDPs) for Certified staff will be postponed one month during the 2018-19 school year.  

Technology Platform Training 
Staff will engage in training on the technology platform during the previously scheduled agency-directed meetings (Aug./Sept.).  

Important Dates and PDP Conferences 
Aug. 30: Professional Learning Providers 
Sept. 19, 20 or 21: Direct Service Staff (OTs, PTs, Audiologists/TDHH, Vision staff) and Consultative Staff (EC, SLPs, School Psychs, SSW, Sped Consultants) 

It is recommended to schedule PDP conferences with your supervisor after you have been trained on the technology platform.  

PDP Deadlines for 2018-19 
All PDP deadlines will be moved back one month.  

• Staff on the induction cycle and/or on summative evaluation cycle will have a due date for PDPs of Nov. 30, rather than Oct. 30.  
• Staff on the formative evaluation cycle will have a due date for PDPs of Dec. 30, rather than Nov. 30.
