IMS Site to Retire on July 1

Effective July 1, 2015, the special education report site, also known as IMS report site or version 4 site, will retire. Users of this site will still have access to similar reports on the Iowa IDEA program. Users’ permissions for the reports will be rolled over and remain the same in the Iowa IDEA program. Bookmark your browser now to the new site and delete any bookmarks you have for the old site.

If you are already a user for the Iowa IDEA program, use the same username and password to access the reports that you have used to access either the IEP or IFSP programs. If you do not currently have a username and password for the Iowa IDEA program, use the username and password you used for the IMS report (or version 4) site when you log into the Iowa IDEA program.

To access the reports in the new system, log into the Iowa IDEA system. Click on either one of the Reports link and then choose the AEA/LEA tab. The reports you have access to will depend on your permissions.

An asterisk (*) behind the name of the report indicates that the report will use the dates in the “General” field on this page. The date can be changed. All reports will be opened in an Excel spreadsheet. This will allow the user to utilize all functions of Excel in manipulating the data to meet the user’s specific needs.

If you have any questions or need specific information, contact one of Heartland AEA’s Web IEP administrators: Sue Dunsmoor (sdunsmoor@heartlandaea.org), Mary Keul (mkeul@heartlandaea.org) or Misty Christensen, Regional Director and Assistant Director of Special Education (mchristensen@heartlandaea.org).
