Last week an e-mail was sent out to all staff to find volunteers to be on the newly-formed United Way Planning Committee. Membership on the committee will involve the following:
• Attending two or three planning meetings scheduled in September and October; meeting locations will be centrally-located, but the use of teleconference/polycom could be used if members are unable to travel
• Brainstorming ideas to increase Agency involvement
• Strengthening relationships with county United Way offices
• Implementing fundraiser campaigns in regional offices
