Johnston Office Blood Drive Results

Seven Heartland employees gave blood at the February 26 Blood Drive at Iowa Public Television in Johnston. Employees who volunteered to give blood for this drive were Alecia Rahn-Blakeslee, Andrea Matheson, Claire Spellman, Lisa Lumbard, Lori Pearson, Maureen Whited and Steve Zimmerman. The blood these donors gave helped fill a critical need for blood types that were in short supply. The Blood Center of Iowa collected a total of 19 units at this drive, which will help save the lives of 57 Iowa hospital patients. Our next blood drive will be on June 1 in the parking lot of the 6500 building in Johnston.
