You have likely heard that Nina Rasmusson, Partnership Director in Regions 6 & 7 is planning to take a position with the Des Moines Public Schools as the director of the new charter school affiliated with the district. Nina has been with the Agency for four years, and while we are sorry to see her leave, she has a very unique opportunity to lead in the design and implementation of a new educational program.
The Agency will seek to fill this position with an interim candidate. Many factors were considered in this decision including district needs, partnership director workload given the group has absorbed two vacancies for 2010-11, the timing of the resignation and the desire to maintain flexibility for the future.
